Our first week is all about getting grounded! Kids learn the Muay Thai stance, guard, and basic footwork, then build confidence through fun movement activities. They'll begin practising the jab and cross, learning how to stay balanced and focused.
Now that kids are moving confidently, we introduce the hook and defensive blocks. They’ll learn how to put punches together into short combos. Fun, engaging games will help build speed, accuracy, and teamwork — all while reinforcing Muay Thai principles in a playful way.
It’s time to kick things up! Kids will be introduced to the teep (push kick) and roundhouse kick, focusing on form, balance, and control. They’ll also learn to block kicks with shin checks. Fun, high-energy games will keep learning engaging and active.
Students explore clinch basics — how to hold, move, and stay balanced — and learn to deliver safe, effective knee strikes. Partner activities help kids stay engaged while building strength, control, and coordination.
In the final week, students put it all together with punch-kick-knee combinations. They'll work with pads and partners, practising technique with focus and control. The week ends with fun challenges and a mini showcase to celebrate their hard work.
